Mary Maybelle, the Dog behind the name

Maybelle was originally named 'Mary Maybelle' but we usually call her Maybelle or Marybelle, depending on the situation and if I mix her two names. She is a 4 lb chihuahua, 1 year old, and sooo cute, she has a sable colored coat, if you aren't familiar with the term, it looks like a German Shepard coloring. She has these ears that flare out like satallite disks, it makes me laugh thinking about it. She loves to play, go for walks, and her favorite thing? To do 'tricks and treats'. She Loves the attention of training. She has such a sweet disposition once you get to know her. Maybelle warms up slowly, but is a friend for life once she does. I looked up the meaning of her name last week, it means 'Loveable'. So fitting.
