Cabela (Bela)		Camping Cabela My family loves camping and outdoors so honestly we shop at Cabela's which has become my husbands favorite store. We want to take Cabela camping with us so gave her a name we associate with camping.
Mabbs		My college puppy Well I was reading a book in wich name I can't recall I fell in love with the name mabbs and I bought a chocolate lab and named her just that
Pearl		Pearl is a precious jewel I adopted Pearl from a shelter this year. She had a bad reputation;no one wanted her and she had been at the shelter forever. I understood this as I don't have a great reputation myself. There is a dog named Pearl in Louise Erdrich's The Round House. Plus I have always like Janis Joplin's album Pearl. I knew once I got her home she would be a jewel. I found his description online: A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear [that results] from the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl.
Oakley		Oakley the inspiring dog Well Oakley is a King Charles Cavilaer and my best friend. we would beg our parents for a dog and never got one until one day they told us and we needed to pick out a name and ive never heard of Oakley and but thought it was a very unique name and i thought it would be a perfect name for our dog. When thinking of the name i was looking out the window at a oak tree and i figured we wouldn't name our dog oak tree so i thought of oakley and Oakley became his name. He's the best dog in the world!!

Bindi		Bindi the a jungle girl Our sweetheart is half Australian Shepard so we gave her the name of a sweet Austrailian girl Bindi the Jungle Girl.

Pepsi		Who Pepsi is to us Our Pepsi was adopted from a shelter last September. Her given name at the Shelter was Pepsi. We looked at this 12 1/2 pd precious dog with loads of energy and who immediately gave us lots of kisses and we felt that her name was perfect for her. Energy/Love/Protects that's who our Pepsi is to us.
