Recently Added dog Names

actuuly i had thouht of getting home a pug . i asked my om and she said yes . then we were thing of the name when i understood of calling it champ

Carrot is a rescued Great Dane and I had no idea of her given name. She was sullen and very disiterested in life, I tried everything and every name I could think of but she just wouldn't take it on board. I was no more than a feeding station and somewhere warm to sleep.
Then one evening she shuffled into the kitchen while I was make supper,she started snuffling along the chopping board inspecting the veg and as is my way (sad life that I lead!!!) I started showing her what I was cutting up and telling her what it was. I got to the carrot, she inspected it closely and I informed her what it was. For the first time in over 6 months a light came on in her, I had never seen her wag before and it helicoppered so fast I thought she'd take off.
Carrot had picked her own name and things just got better and better.

Somer is a family name from her parents grandparents. She
Lives in MA and is from Indiana where she was rescued from a"kill shelter."
She was born in March of 2012.

One night I was thinking of nicknames for a tortiose that I own, and i thought of Boogles. I said If i get a dog then i am going to name him boogles. So now i have this name and my dog loves the name.
