My husband and I bought our special little Shi-Tzu 5 years ago. He was the last of his littler, no one wanted him.. He was born with what is very common in the breed, a genetic deformity in his back leg. It was shorter, and the bones didn't grow properly, so although he is full blooded, he is only registered with AKC with a limited registration. Any pups he may Sire can only be limited as well due to his deformity. Knowing we would have potential health risks and future vet costs with that leg ( and we did!!) other than the little gimpy leg, that didn't bother him at all, he was very healthy! He came right to me and we took him. I research Tibetan names and chose "Tashi"! When we registered him, his name is "Tashi, Our Keeper of the Stars". "Keeper of the stars" by Tracy Byrd was our song! Below is the meaning I have, that I got from a Tibetan baby name book.. |

I have a little white female pomerainan and had a hard time trying to find her a name. We live in the south so i was looking for a southern name. My son has a golden reteriver and her name is Dixie bell. So i was looking at the names for girl dogs and i saw Daisy Mae. Well, that was it. She then became Daisy Mae. If someone would ask me what my favorite flower is my answer was a Daisy. Adding the mae on her name makes it southern. Well, there you go.
