Eiger our 7 year old Rottweiler male was named after the famous Eiger Mountain in Southern Germany and Swiss Alps. I had traveled there while in the US Army several years ago. The Clint Eastwood movie Eiger Sanction is the same mountain range. Much like the mountain range , our Eiger is big and beautiful. |

The Miracle dog ;)
Muttlee's real name is Miracle.Why Miracle? When we were driving home in 2007 on Christmas Eve we saw a little black puppy walking on the side of the road. it was about -3 to -5 degrees that night so we picked her up.She was cold and skinny with fleas and ticks. Maybe 9 months old. We were watching the 12 dogs of Christmas that night and the little girl named Emma in the movie found a dog close to Christmas eve in the cold and eventually called her Miracle so i thought it was perfect for this little puppy! its now 2013 and shes an older dog but still sweet as can be :) thank you :) |
